who is a single father in this forum???

i am a single father who reapply an initial application for FSW NS Sidney in Feb,2010. i have fear how i will manage to live in Canada with two my daughters? Please give me your advice specially from a guy who is the same with my situation.

I don't think I know any single fathers in Canada but I had worked with some single mothers. It is always a bit harder with only one parent, especially when the kids are young but somehow people make it work. How old are your daughters?

With children this small, in a new country with no family support, it will definitely be hard. You have to look into how much money you expect to make and what kind of cost you would have to pay for daycare. Google daycares in the province where you intend to live and ask about their costs. I know some provinces are better than others. I had a coworker who had moved from Quebec to Alberta and was surprised at the high daycare costs. He actually ended up moving back because of them. Another option would be to get a live-in caregiver. You may even be able to help another relative immigrate this way.

Hi

Still it will take some time to complete process and by that time your older daughter will be able to at least take care her self or may can manage to take care. It will be very difficult to look for job and take care of babies. before moving to Canada you need to check the daycare cost and your expected income. May God will help you to find the way. It is depending on your profession and job too. If your job is stable you may keep a live in nanny. God luck and go-ahead with your application process.

Hi gashe,

As others adviced, move or go on...though it is very tough!
Follow your dreams, GOD is always there, as it was written,
" HE knows his plans for you and gives you peace, future and hope".

Just like you, I got 2 daughters and a son.....I married early that my kids are now grown up(youngest at 11).
By the grace of GOD,hope to complete documents this month for visa office submission.
