My partner and I are still waiting for our PR. Due to its extensive long processing time (me 3 years, added her 1.5 years ago, her 1.5 years now), we decided to get married whatsoever. My question is: if we got married right before PPR, or right before landing (basically around these critical points), is it going to affect our processing time? Would it be a better idea to postpone marriage till after landing? Or it wouldn't matter too much in this case since we already did all the security check and eligibility check? Will it be just a simple update and upload the marriage certificate copy and 2-3 weeks extra time? Or would be quite a few months late?
