Which option to choose for a visitor Visa, more 6 months or less then 6 months

Hi Experts,

My friend want to visit to Canada, she is a citizen of Armenian.

While applying for visa, she saw 3 options for the Visa length.

First option is less then 6 months, more then 6 months and permanent.

At this moment she will be visiting for a vacation duration, but it would be preferable to have long length of visa, as she would be probably visit next year too.

What would recommend, which option to choose if she is applying for the first time.

The choices refer to how long the VISIT will be. So she should choose less than 6 months.
