Hi,
Background
I have a bachelor's degree in computer science in India and have even worked for 4-5 years in India in the software industry. I regret not applying for express entry 1-2 years ago.
My CRS score is now just 441 and I see no signs of the cutoff getting this low ever (correct me if I am wrong). So I am hesitant to apply for it right now.
I have decided to get a masters degree to enter Canada and even develop some connections before I can settle down.
Questions
1. Is it worth doing a one year masters degree like this? https://uwaterloo.ca/discover-graduate-studies/programs/electrical-and-computer-engineering-meng It is only for one year or so and I may not be able to do an internship. As I understand, after I finish my masters degree, I will get a post graduation work permit and be able to stay for another 1 year until I can find a job.
2. Is finding jobs in Canada after masters similar to how it is in the US? Do companies visit universities and hold career fairs looking to hire graduates?
3. My GRE score is 321, is it worth including it in my application?
Thank you
