My friend crossed border from Montreal and he will be submitting application for refugee along with his family. Border officials gave him two options, either he could get his own lawyer or choose one from the list of lawyers they gave him (Government lawyers). Do you know if he should choose a lawyer from the list they provided or choose one of his own? If he choose one of his own, will they cover the cost? Do you know a good lawyer from Montreal?
