which form I will fill to sponsor my wife if I have a son(by birth Canadian)?

I am Canadian citizen and I want to sponsor my wife and I also have a son, 2 year old living with my wife out side Canada and my son already have canadian Passport.
My question are.
1) Is my son is depandent or not

2) which financial form will I fill either 5481 or 1283

1. No, he is a citizen.
2. 5481 I have to assume that your son doesn't have any dependent children of his own.
