Hey everyone,
Think I've got one last one, this regards the fees to be paid with the application:

$75 for the application
$475 for the principal applicant

-now-

my question is, if I'm going for a visa under common law, does my common law partner (the sponsor) have to pay $550, or is that fee for a spouse/ common law partner that I might be bringing with me (not the sponsor, but someone else, family member etc)?

Cheers!

Pay those two plus the RPRF of $490.

Your partner does not pay the $550 because your partner is not being sponsored.

The total amount, assuming no dependants, should total $1040.

Also worth noting, it does not matter which items in the list you pick when you pay online, as long as the total is $550 or $1040 (depending on whether or not you elect to pay the RPRF right now)

I was REALLY confused about this so I called and spoke to a CIC call-centre agent and she cleared it up for me.
