Which bridge to choose for crossing with RO not met

I am planning to cross into Canada from USA in few days and want to understand which bridge would be better to go to Ottawa. I have valid PR card but I did not meet RO and have only 10 months left for my card expiry. I am going for a temporary visit and want to go through bridge where immigration officers possibly don't give too much hard time for the RO part. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance.

all CBSA borders follow the same protocol, so there is no border that is "easier to cross" than others. If you want to go to ottawa, the 2 closest borders are in Ogdensburg, NY (45 min from ottawa) and Watertown, NY (Landsdowne border - 1.5 hours from ottawa). I'm pretty sure it was pointed out in the other thread that you can't be refused entry into canada because you haven't met RO. The risk is whether the CBSA officer decides to report you for RO investigation. There is no way to determine if an officer will do this.

The good news:
You will be allowed to re-enter Canada, no matter which crossing you choose. Even though you have not met the rO, you still have the right to enter Canada.

The bad news:
Since this will only be a temporary visit, you should expect that you will ultimately lose your PR.

If you were re-entering Canada, were not reported by CBSA and were able to remain in Canada for 730 consecutive days, you would then be in compliance, but since you aren't willing to do that...

Hey what is the 44 report? And which border did you cross? Thanks
44 report means CBSA has submitted a residency non-compliance report which then starts the process of revoking your PR status (which you have the opportunity to challenge).
