My application is being processed and no where near a decision made! I was just wondering where I could land when I receive PR? I live in Ontario 45 minutes from Niagara Falls..I has thought about landing in Niagara Falls Rainbow Bridge..however I visited US in Jan 2009 I was given a 90 day waiver and told to surrender it at the Airport when I got back to Canada! It was my 1 and only visit to US in my life! I totally forgot about the waiver in my passport as I was too concerned with getting back into Canada. I didnt surrender my Waiver card until August 2009..a full 4 months after my 90 days that I was allowed..

Will this affect my ability to Land in the US? I now have a different passport too! Will I have to prove I came back before the 90 days was up? I got married in Canada in May 2009...

With reference to this older post below, you can actually phone CIC to confirm the landing location inside Canada (no need to go to the border):

I am pretty sure if you like, you wouldn't even need to leave Canada to land and no I am not getting confused with inland because I know that you don't for inland as well.

Anyway, it may be worth calling CIC and asking if you applied outland but wanted to know if it is possible to land at a local CIC office in your area since you don't want to leave. Just a suggestion. I do believe that audball from the other immigration board did this as well. She applied outland to Buffalo, waited to receive her visa in passport and called to schedule an appointment at Yellowknife because the drive to cross the border was a long drive. They scheduled an appointment for her and she landed that way. You may want to contact her because I may be wrong.

Anyway, if you want to flagpole or go back home for a short vacation then come back, you could most certainly do that but I just wanted you to realize you have the other way as an option too. Good luck.
