I am a Canadian citizen who is sponsoring my American common-law partner in his in-land application for permanent residency. The two of us have been cohabitating in Manitoba, Canada since January of 2017.
We plan to include an open work permit with our permanent residency application, but where do we include the work permit checklist and forms? The PR checklist asks whether we are including an open work permit with our application, but there is no mention of where we should place it in the package. I just don't want any of our documents to get lost in the shuffle!
I couldn't find any info online or on the CIC website, but I hope someone else who's been in my situation can help me out.
