JUST WANNA BE LEGAL SEPARATED, CANADIAN LAWYERS TELLS ME THAT IT MUST BE IN CANADA, AND DOMINICAN LAWYERS SAY IT CAN BE IN DOMINICANA, ****WHO I HAVE TO BELIEVE?**** get divorce in canada are 1,500 dollars, in dominican 250$... Please advise

I believe you are supposed to get divorced in the country you got married. Then have the divorce legalized in the other country, assuming the marriage was previously legalized in said country.

You can get divorced in Canada . Doesn't matter where you got married .

You will have to be in the DR if you want to get divorced , there are many papers to file and sign. Do you have a separation agreement ? If so this will make it easier. OP was looking at cost so it will be cheaper in the D.R .BUT NOT NECESSARY Modified post just in case you don't read the previous one .

Wrong, the OP has been resident in Canada for 1 year so he can divorce in Canada.
