Where am i applying from?

Hello,

i live in Canada & and my wife lives in Afghanistan.
Afghanistan doesn`t have any Canadian embassy.. so all applications for Afghans are directed to Canadian embassy in India.

i filed my wife sponsorship application to Immigration office in Mississuaga, Canada... So my question is that when i check for processing times according to the country. Where am i applying from?

do i mention Canada? Afghanistan? India? it`s confusing me.. Please help!

It would be Afghanistan. Your wife is the principal applicant, and she lives in Afghanistan.

I agree with Kayaker, your wife lives in Afghanistan so it would be Afghanistan ...
By the way, not the Canada embassy processes our application but the Canada Visa office, you shouldnt worry about that
