i sent my application under CEC on nov 23 and reached buffalo on nov 28. My ECAS does not say anything. When will buffalo update the file that they recieved the application. i am worried ,when can i expect a reply from them. Pls help.

You will be notified the receipt of application by CIC when they will send the File Number to you which is called AOR ( Acknowledgement of Receipt ).

The average time for AOR is 2-3 months after sending the application.

I have been waiting six months for them to give me my file number. I sent it June 14th and they received it the 17th. Any day now, is what I keep telling myself.
