When to apply for BOWP?

I submitted my PR application today and have received my AOR. My PGWP expires in 2 months, what should be the right time to apply for BOWP?

I am reading a lot about R10 check and whatnot. I don’t anticipate a new request for biometrics because the last time I got them done was 6 years aho when I submitted my work permit. Should I wait to apply for my BOWP? How does one check their R10 completeness?

Please advise.
