When does Stage 2 Processing Time start?

Before I contact my MP, I'm just wondering when Stage 2 Processing Time actually starts?
Is it from the date Mississauga does the transfer or from the date the processing office sends out the AOR?

I believe it is from the time the file is transferred out as many VO's do not issue aor's......

Yes. It starts the date of the letter of sponsor approval.

i would say it starts about 1 week or so after missisauga transfers it. once the VO receives the application.

our application was transfered april 5 to mexico city. and its been almost 3 months. and we never got an AOR. and i know some other people who never received an AOR either. so i would guess its not from that time

We got Stage 1 approval email on July 25, 2011 and Buffalo emailed AOR on August 26, 2011. US outland(then Buffalo) is listed average of 12 months now, guess it's safe to contact MP next month?

yes i would say if you dont hear anything, its doesnt hurt to ask your MP to contact them
