When can I use the funds shown in 'proof of funds'

Ive got my PR visa and I am moving to canada next month. The funds that ive shown in my accounts, can i use them now? I'll be using them to book the flight tickets, accomodation and all.
Is it ok if i use them now?

When you land you have to you have the POF amount in your account.

What if i convert that money into canadian dollars and take it with me in the form of cash/forex card? Will that be ok?

Just remember you MUST declare everything in any currency that you carry when the total is 10000CDN or more. This includes the total for any members of family traveling with you so if 2 of you for example you cannot just split 5k each you must declare still. You can bring in a million dollars in cash if you want as long as you declare it, but not declaring the cash it could be confiscated and a fine issued to get it back
