Good evening?

I gor an ADR from IRCC asking for multiple forms including letter of employment and proof of funds or settlement funds but the thing is for personal reasons i dont have enough funds but i do have a full time job and lease. Given that, should i still have the funds or can I write an explanation letter explaining my situation and provide with the LOE and lease contract to show that I’m settled?

thank you in advance

What are the requirements for settlement funds for the province you were nominated from? If says you need funds, then you need funds. If through CEC then no.

Thanks for the clarification.

My nomination was under NLPNP Non-Express Entry International Graduate.

Settlement funds are not explicitly listed as a standalone requirement under this stream, however IRCC requested proof of funds in the ADR. I do have full-time employment in NL and a lease, and I’m trying to understand whether IRCC will assess establishment based on employment and ties to the province, or if funds must still be shown regardless of the NLPNP stream.

Also, I have been here in the province for 3 years

Appreciate your input.

You have to show settlement funds as per NL requirements. You need to show bank statements over the past 3 months. Need to show that those funds have been maintained. Show what you have and hopefully approved.

Would submit all documents requested or consult a lawyer. IRCC may want to see that you have funds to support yourself/your family if you are suddenly unemployed, have some sort of unexpected cost like a car repair for example, etc. Provinces don’t want new PRs to depend on the government or other social supports soon after they receive PR.
