When applying for jobs, what step in the hiring process should I disclose I'm an international student?

Do I need to tell them at the end of the job interview, "by the way, I'm an international student here on a Study Permit and I am authorised to work", or should I wait until I'm hired to give this information to HR?

All work will be in compliance with relevant policies (full-time student, part-time work and/or during academic breaks, etc.), of course.

Right at the beginning of it. Do not try to mislead employers as you might end up having issues with authorities such as tax department.
