Hi everyone

I'm currently facing an issue. I have one year and more Canadian working experience NOC 1212, and I have another one year and more overseas working experience NOC 1311. My Canadian working experience has been already passed 3 years so I'm not eligible to apply CEC. So I choose to apply Federal Skill Work. Now I'm facing a problem.

When I answer the question, in last 10 years how many skilled work experience( must be continue, part-time or full-time and IN ONLY ONE OCCUPATION) I don't know what's only one occupation means. Cause I have two different ONC code jobs. If I answer this question in only one year but not 2-3 years, I cannot enter into EE system. I'm not qualify yet. However, my overseas working experience will be only another 4 months to reach two years, should I wait until that point of time..... or I can enter into EE system now?

Thank you

You already have one year of Canadian work experience under NOC 1212, so select 1 year for Candian work experience in the last 10 years. Then you can top it up with your overseas work experience in NOC 1311.

Hi everyone,

I have fulfilled the one-year continuous full-time experience. I am looking to improve my score under this work experience section below for a total of 3 years of work experience.

6) Work Experience
ii. In the last 10 years, how many total years of foreign skilled work experience do you have?
It must have been paid, full-time (or an equal amount in part-time), and in only one occupation (NOC skill type 0, A or B).

Since I have 2 different jobs before. Can I work for 2 different companies for 1 occupation? I am looking for my next job that can help improve my score so do I need to apply back to a similar job with a different company since I have resigned already?
My work experience.
1st job: Accounting Executive (ONE YEAR EXP) NOC 12200
2nd job: Internal Auditor (ONE YEAR EXP) NOC 11100

Or are they counted as one occupation or two? My 1st job is under NOC code 12200 while my 2nd job falls under 11100. However, they both fall under similar Broad occupational category 1 – Business, finance and administration occupations. How do you differentiate one occupation?

Please enlighten me. Thank you.
