Whats the best phone plan to go on if your on a low budget?

I would need cell phone, but will need a cheap but good plan, until I find a job and start working.I would also need a phone would prefer a smartphone.Can anyone say which company is the best for the sort of plan, would be interested in calling and texting mostly.

It really doesn't matter which plan or company you go with... Canada is about five years behind Europe and you will feel ripped off whatever...

However, a lot depends on exactly what your requirements are and which part of the country you are in. Details?

Mobilicity is good. I only pay $40 before tax for unlimited Canada, USA, unlimited global text and unlimited data. That is not bad at all!

Yes, but what is the coverage like? It's not a lot of use if you are forced to "roam" everywhere.
