Just received a letter from Hong Kong visa office and said that I need to provide some additional documents like

1. Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008)
2. Schedule A - Background/Declaration (IMM 5669)
3. Additional Family Information (IMM 5406)

for my son. I already filled that up and sent back to Hong Kong immediately. Since they have a UCI# on the letter, so I can check the status online, and found that they have already received my son's medical report.

My question is
1. What is the next step they will ask me to do?
2. The letter mentioned "In order to process your application as quickly as possible, it is suggested that PRC appliciants obtain their travel documents to come to Hong Kong immediately. This could facilitate the overall processing time of your application."
What does this mean? I need to send my son's passport to them right now?
3. And once they putted the paper on my son's passport, do I need to go back Hong Kong and pick that up or they will send that back to me?

Appreciated your advise, thank you.

If you are in Hong Kong, then you don't need travel documents...but if you are outside of there, and need travel documents to go there, I would advise applying for the travel documents.

By the sounds of it, you will have to take the passport to Hong Kong, and get the visa affixed to the passport, and then take your son back to Canada to land with you....

Other than that, all you can do is wait for Hong Kong to give you more instructions...
