Hello all,
I need help. My PGWP is going to expire in OCT so i want to know whats my next options are.Right now i am working in a company and my job comes in category C. My PGWP and visa is going to expire in OCT and i know i cant apply for another PGWP so i want to know how to stay in canada and keep working. ANy options for me .Thanks :o :o

If you want to continue working, you would need a new work permit after October. To get a new work permit, you need a full time job offer and an approved LMIA either from your current employer or from a new employer.

My job category comes under Category C , can i still get lima ? Right now i am working full time tough

Yes - your employer can still get an LMIA. The LMIA process takes months to complete. Your employer should start now.

Hi all,

I am also in a similar situation - PGWP expiring in July.
I have a full time permanent position but my employer is not keen on doing an LMIA.
What would my other options be to continue working or to extend my work permit?

I studied for 4 years anew as issued a 3 year PGWP - Can I extend for another year of work permit?

No - you can't extend your PGWP. Your employer must obtain an approved LMIA so that you can apply for a new work permit. If your employer isn't willing to go through the LMIA process then you will have to find a different employer who is.
