What should I write under Client ID for the official PR card receipt?

Hi everyone,

I am renewing my PR card for the 1st time. I paid the $50 processing fee online and printed out the official receipt to be sent with my application.

However, I have to fill out the bottom part that includes my address, telephone number and Client ID (??). Can anyone shed some light as to what this Client ID is about (that needs to be filled out on the official receipt printed from the CIC Canada website)?

Given the fact that it now takes 151 days to renew PR cards, I am making sure that my application is complete before submission so that I don't face any more delays.

right the 8 digit number that is on front of ur PR card !
It is your permanent Id with immigration

Hi,

I left it blank thinking that it is "for official use only", same as in the supplementary Identification form. I already sent my application, I'll just wait and see.
