I applied for a Canadian student visa. After a month, I got a rejection saying that "Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of: your qualifications, previous studies, missing marks sheets, academic record, level of establishment, language abilities, or your future prospects and plans".

I am a physics graduate applied for master in mathematics. Can this be one of the reasons?
My question is should I upload all my transcripts and certificates from school, take a written letter from the McMaster professor stating that I qualify for the program, write a personal statement while reapplying?

What should be there in the personal statement? I don't know what "level of establishment" means. Please let me know asap. Thanks in advance.

So the VO feels you already hold a master's degree, so why do you need another one? This is what you have to (somehow) justify to the VO.

So, I need to write a personal statement clarifying this?

Yes, at the very least. You need to describe why you want to change your field.

VO's want to see a clear progression of studies and if you aren't following that, you need to justify the expense and time you will spend changing your field.

Firstly apply for CAIPS NOTES as that would clearly mention the exact reason of refusal. The reason which you have got is a standard format from embsssy.
Even I got the same rejection reason and then ordered for caips & got to know the exact refusal reason.
So I will advise you to order caips notes and then make necessary changes to your application when applying for the second time :)
