By the spreadsheets, the last Brampton , Ontario applicants to receive test invites were from APRIL 2018 ( one year ago). No brampton applicant later than that has received a test invite !!!!!!!

And there are very few applicants from brampton in the sheets anyway , so what could be the reason for such delay?

It is only a list..there are probably hundreds NOT on that list that get their invites..who knows

Yes, your argument is very valid. But comparing just the people in the sheets , brampton apps are real laggards.

BTW , does IRCC release any data about the no. of citizenship applicants in a year/ applicants naturalized per year?

Bramptong people get their app processed by Mississauga office which has huge backlogs and still dealing with apps fron Feb Mar 2018 so any comparison of this office with Scarborough wont be fair as Scarborough is dealing with Nov 2018 apps. So difference is huge atleast 6-7 of backlog

the official processing time is 12 months , so your case is past that limit . What answer do they give you?

That they will contact me if they need more info and that they will send a reminder to the processing officer. That's it. I get the same response every time.

BG checks are all done so there is no reason not to send the test invite.

did they tell you that BG checks are done?

And what are your options now? lawyer? MP?

No, i requested GCMS. and it shows the updates.
Called again and they got a response from mississauga a couple weeks ago telling them i'm in the wait line for test and lo and behold no test invite. just a bunch of lies.
i get that the CC rep is not at fault, but considering how many applications are already delayed, main office should have already cleaned the house in Mississauga, as it is clear that they are not capable of doing their jobs.

I'm considering trying with MP. Lawyer sounds like a very expensive option.

thanks for the reply. I have came across the words "GCMS " many times but don't really know what it is ?
Is it some kind of processing history you request from IRCC? and how does it help?

And do you think over 12 month delays could be related to the country(ies) of origin?

GCMS/ATIP is how you can get a copy of your file/updates/processing office notations in your file. they officers will record every change in your file and that's how you can tell what has been done and what's pending (BG check, security clearance, file transfers, etc). it's free but it takes about a month to be sent.

You can go below. You only need to provide a scan of a valid ID.

I don't think it's related to nationality as many users in this forum are getting theirs app processed. It seems to be a problem with applications going to Mississauga and from some cities - Brampton being the hardest hit for what I can see-.

Ok. thanks. I don't need the GCMS now as it has only been 4 months and
I hope they do something soon to fix the Mississauga office backlog.

Yes, Brampton seems to be very slow compared with other locations.

just noticed on december sheet, someone got "decision made" and 6-7 people have tests scheduled.

but we from brampton will suffer. Like I said before, the most recent brampton test scheduling is for applicants from april 2018,
which means dec. brampton applicants will wait another 8 months for the test !!!!!!!!!
