What is time duration of cic for giving icing number

I have applied provision nominee program (spnp) my file has been sumbited in cic I'm waiting for uci number I don't know how much time cic takes for giving me uci number my counsaltant told me it's take 6 months for giving uci number can u have any information regarding cic time duration for giving uci number to candidates I have applied first time.my file submitted 25jun2016 in cic

if you submitted your application to cic in june, then you ought to have gotten your uci number by now cos they are attending to August Applicants

My file got delivered at Sydney on 24th June and due to IELTS expiry on 21 June, they returned back my paper application which I got on 20th Sept. Surprisingly, they mentioned UCI No. on that returned package. Now I have again sent the file with updated IELTS which have got delivered on 3rd Nov. Please tell me, what the advantage on UCI? Why are you so keen to get UCI? I am asking this because they mentioned UCI with my Cancelled application. Why are u so late? You are like my batch mate, and I returned back the packet, completed IELTS and sent again the application and you don't get any result yet.
