What is the meaning of SS check in GCSM notes

Hi can someone explain the meaning of SS check in GCSM notes. I recently ordered my notes due to the fact that my application for sponsorship inland has been transferred to Etobicoke as at July 6, 2018 and have not heard from them .The application was made 8th May 2017.my GCSM notes says SS check is negative.what does this implies .

I believe that SS is Security screening and negative is clean.

Oh is that so because my file got transferred in the of July 6, 2018 after waiting for 12months from 8th May , 2017. My sponsor was approved on the
9th July 2018 and am still waiti ng I don`t really know how long I have to wait from Etobicoke. Do you have any idea as to how long one have to wait if application is transferred to Etobicoke.

It means social services (welfare). Negative means the sponsor is not on welfare.
