What is the approximate visa processing time ?

Hi,

What is the approximate processing time for visa. I can see in cic website that for "skilled worked", it would take atleast 22 months for applications from India....so it means that almost 2 years...?

Is it true?

It is just guideline.

Generally this year I have a opinion that atleast 50% cases they will issue within a year and some case will go beyond this 22 months guideline.

Exact duration for each application depends on the documentation quality and quantity and also some unknown factors.

I couldn't remember the applicant's name but his office is NDVO and he got the PR in just above 4 months.

8-12 months minimum...can be more than that depends upon case to case
