What is processing time after application return?

The estimated processing time in my region for work permit is 26 weeks now.

After 20 weeks I received an email from IRCC asking for submitting IELTS and updated contact because the old one was not signed.
I have submitted all the newly required documents.

(My application status during this time no additional documents required)

My question is: does the processing time will start all over again so I need to wait for more 26 weeks? Or only the remaining 6 weeks ?

Processing starts when there is a complete application. Yours was incomplete so 26 weeks.

I saw it but I believe my application was complete they just asked for more things that is not normally required.
IELTS not required for work permit. Also there is no thing specified that offer letter must be signed I accepted it through email. And if additional documents requried why my dashboard for 5 months stated (No additional documents required)

If it wasn’t sent back as incomplete and returned then you are fine. If they asked for additional documents that wasn’t requested in the application, you should be okay and processing continues from 20 weeks.

Only the remaining 6 weeks. Additional documents request doesn't count as an incomplete application and you don't have to wait all way long.
