Hi Kinjal,

PER is Positive eligibility review. But you will not find this term on CIC website as it was coined by the members of this forum.

You will receive an email from CIO if your file passes the Initial eligibility review; this email will also have details about your file and the file number.

will you please tell me the normal time required for getting file number....
becoz my docs received by mr.mike on 10th august-2011 still i have not received any e-mail -----
my category is 3131 and i am from india....

kindly share your experience

well, its during this email we receive uci no and file number- the second file number (given along with the uci no)? right
