EOI based and no EOI based PNPs. (Confused)

Hi, Everyone i am confused about PNP programs and how they choose their candidates.

As per this news, Nova Scotia is one of the two province that doesn't apply EOI. So does that mean they just choose candidates if they meet the requirements mentioned in their websites? I don't know why these info are not clearly mentioned in any of the province's PNP pages.

if possible, can you help me find other programs if available which does not apply EOI or point based selection criteria for their programs?

What NS stream are you referring to? How long have you worked in the province? Who is your designated employer? NS has such a small number of nominations.

Read the requirements and guide. Need full time permanent job offer and have worked with the employer for at least 6 months.

So if you don't have a job offer with employer willing to support and be eligible, and working for them then chances are zero. Also the province onl has around 1700 spots for all streams so may only be a few hundred for your stream.

If the allocation is this less then it is better go for RCIP in smaller areas. They also have very less allocation, but at least they don't have EOI for some communities and have priority jobs that i have experience in!

But you need community endorsement and a NOC that is needed in the community. So do not move to a community without a job offer and community endorsement.

If I don't work for them, i'm just by applying online how are they going to provide me these things? Also Even when we apply online the almost 99% time they don't reply to any of the applications.

Look up that community's RCIP site and see what NOCs are in demand and the list of designated employers. Also working, living and being community endorsed doesn't guarantee PR. So don't move until you have a job. Why settle in a small town and then realize your skills are not needed.

I have experience in the food sector, and some of these communities list food sector jobs as a priority, with no CAP restrictions at the moment. I have tried applying for these jobs and reaching out to them online, but most of them don’t respond. This has left me puzzled about how I can secure a job before moving there and get the support I’m seeking.

Well it is your decision moving to a place without a job. RCIP also has quotas so each community may only have a couple hundred spots.
