Hi,

I am an Indonesian Citizen living in the US with L-1B Visa since 2006. Last month, my wife (also Indonesian Citizen with L-2 visa) deliver our second child in the US.
1. For me , my wife and the first child, I put us as Citizen: Indonesia and Country of Residence: Indonesia. Because we live in the US temporarily, don't have greencard, and will be back to home country in the future. Is this correct? I am not sure just because I live in the US for 3 years and will consider us US resident.
2. For our second child, for sure I know that he is both US Citizen and Indonesian Citizen. What should I put for his country of residence? Indonesia, US, or both?

Thanks.

Hi,
You are not Permamnet residents but you all are US residents now. Your country of residence is your PRESENT address. This will affect the Visa Office where you need to send your documents. Do not say Indonesia on the form as the country of residence or you will miss the chance to submit your documents to the Buffalo Visa Office (which is quite quick in processing).
