Pre-Assessed..
Hi all,
I know lot of people have been talking about getting access to ECAS. What is it ? I submitted my EE profile end of August and got my AOR first week of September. My medical has been approved and background check/eligibility are "in progress". What is ECAS? SHould I have gotten access to it by now?

hey did you get any update on ur application ??

I also am not able to access my application from ECAS

I think it's this thing - https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/
Which should tell you something about your application status.
I haven't yet got access to it either. Tells me there's no information about my application.

Have you paid the Right for Permanent Residence Fee by the way?

Majority of applicants who could see there application status on Ecas lost access a few weeks back. (Some issue with Ecas) So don't worry about it.

Hello,

Thanks for the ECAS link! Though after trying twice to check our status through ECAS, it is showing 'we can not identify you'. I entered correct application number and details. I have received AOR in August and have medicals passed soon after AOR. Our BG went into 'in progress' the last month. I am an Outland applicant and never been to canada before. Please help!!!

Thanks a ton!!! :)

ECAS is an electronic case management system which is supposed to show the most up to date info about your application. Looks like only FSW2014 and Refugees have ECAS access and everyone else is getting that same message. My personal opinion is that ECAS will never come back for EE applicants since MyCIC would make it redundant anyway.

Thanks a lot! I thought so, but I got anxious when I saw people from EE also talk about ECAS. But you might be right, they might have limited us to MyCIC as it serves the same purpose...

Good luck!

I submitted eAPR on 24th. How do I find my UCI number, does anybody know? I've checked my Acknowledgement, it has only the EE profile number.

Neither the AOR nor the confirmation of application transmission say anything about ecas. It only asks eAPR applicants to approach the call center for any questions on the application. ecas is not able to find my identification too. I tried to login with only the express entry profile number because there is no other number with me.

UCI number is initially with the CIC. You might get it when they ask you for some documents or clarification. Unless that happens, you won't have the knowledge of your UCI number.
