I am applying to sponsor my husband for his p.r. to Canada. My question is...What is a co-signer?? Do I need a co-signer?? (I am unemployed where I live in greece and live off of my husbands wages from work) Can my husband be my co-signer?? thanks

You don't need to prove income to sponsor a spouse and so you don't need a co-signer. Besides, your husband would not be able to co-sign for sponsorship of himself. A co-signer is used when a couple is sponsoring another relative subject to income requirements (such as the parents of one of them) and the sponsor does not have enough income by themselves. In that case, the spouse of the sponsor can co-sign so they can add their income too.
