what if: baby born in Canada after very shortly receiving CoPR documents (but before landing)?

I am in the same situation. My canadian baby was born and I just got the COPR.

Was it ok to tell the officer that you have a Canadian baby but he/she is not listed in your COPR?

Just tell the officer at the border (he or she'll just say "OK" or something like that).

But tell IRCC too! They'll ask for the birth certificate.
