What happens to Study permit after approval of PGWP

Hi everyone i need an answer asap!!!
I recently got approved for pgwp, and just wondering about the validity of study permit I used to hold. I need to apply for study permit for CPA, and I am not quite sure about the process.

do i have to extend my permit? Or reapply for new one?

Dont think you can hold both study/work permits at the same time, you should call ircc. Does cpa take more than 6 months?

Yes well each modules are less than 2 months but it will take up to 2.5 years maximum.
