1. As long as the previous IELTs result is still valid (less than 2 years old) you can use it.

Is it so because i got CLB 9 in my last ielts exam 14 days ago so CRS is 455 and i gave one today which i thnik was ok and my speaking test is tomorrow so i was thinking to skip it so that i will not have result but now i think i should do it.

Go ahead with it. You've already paid for it, and you don't have to use it if it is worse than the previous one.

You can use the one which has the highest score as long as it's valid (result was in the last 2 years). Just because it's the latest doesn't mean you have to use it, it's your choice.

Also, to point out - you can not mix & match the results :) ;D

So you booked multiple IELTS? How many did you book in advance? This I think is an interesting strategy as opposed to booking a test, taking after about 2 months, waiting 2 weeks for the results and then booking the next available dates in case score is high enough.

I had queried IELTS last Oct on this. Their response:

Your last result will not be void if you take the test again. It will be up to you to pick and submit the test result to any institution as per your choice.

Can I update latest IELTS score after I receive Provincial nomination. My first IELTS score was better then second one and it's valid too. Is it required to update the latest IELTS score or I can go with old score as well because it's still valid till next year.
