What happens if a dependant child who is being sponsored for Permanent Residence turns 19 during the application being processed? Does the application become invalid or does it not matter? Does it mean that I can't sponsor my son to come to Canada with me or not? Thank you. :)

As long as CIC received the application before the child turned 19, the child can get PR regardless when the child turned 19 or older at landing. The child's age is locked in at the time CIC received the application. As long as application is received even the day before the child turned 19 on his/her birthday at CIC, it's fine.
