What happens after submiting the paperwork?

How long should i wait to recive a response from the Buffalo Consulate? I sent out my package about a week ago and have not heard from them.. any time frames i should be looking at?

Someone with more knowledge will probably come along and give you a better response (or you can go to the site and check the average times)... But what experience I can share is that the last thing you need is to start worrying about time... I can quite possibly (probably) take years...

by response if you meant acknowledment of receive (receipt), it may take 3 to 4 weeks. Do not worry, if all the documents are fine they will accept it and send you the file number.

The most important part is the waiting period after receiving file number!

what im actually worry about is getting my package back due to any errors, so far i have waited 2 weeks, im in on the clear? or not?

you and I am in the same boat, I think. I also sent my package couple of weeks ago. Let's wait and see what will they do..

They received my package on Mar 24th. I haven't heard or got any piece of paper from them!!

Someone in forums said it takes 2 months to get the AOR....
