What happens after getting AINP with 15 month processing time afterward?

I just check and realized it takes 15 months to process PR after getting the AINP. My question is what is the advantage after getting the nomination? My wife is in other country, will she be able to come just showing the nomination document once we get it? Or we have to wait 15 months after getting the nomination.
Thanks in advance.

if you are both married, and you have been nominated, you could include her in your application and she could get an open work permit. Talk with a lawyer or somebody who could help you more.

Thanks. Is that called BOWP?
no. B comes from Bridge, and it's done when you have another work permit and because you are about to be approved one application like and LMIO or something like that, you can apply for a BOWP. I think. never sure.

Just got it. But wasn't aware of the fact that nominee's spouse are entitled to have OWP. thanks a lot for your info.

In my case, I was with my gf here in Vancouver. I was with young professional and then with WP thanks to my nomination. I waited to be common law to apply for PR so I could include her and she got Open work permit.
