What happen if i resign from LMIA job

I have a LMIA work permit at BC and i' ve been working 3months , I am thinking to relocate Atlantic Province due to difficult to get PR from BC,
If i got a job offer from Atlantic province. (with designated employer)

What will be my status,

My new work permit will be LMIA exempt work permit?
Can i work with new employer?
It will be legal?
Can i apply PR through AIP

So are you on a closed work permit? if so you cannot change employers unless you get another LMIA from another employer and apply for another closed work permit.
