The review for eligibility comes first where they make sure you are not inadmissible as per IRPA. After they complete this they should ask you for medical documents. This also depends on where you are applying from as well
So which country are your applying from? then I can give you a better answer.

hi,

My parents visa office is Newdelhi (indian), a month ago i received a letter from them to submit some additional documents which i did,
and recently i connected my application and i see that,

how can they review the medicals when its not even done, i dont think i have missed anything and i dont see medical papers in the connected account.

should i do the medicals in advance and send them.

please advise, getting confused.

Just bringing this one up for further clarification.

Why would my medical results be "review in progress" while my eligibility isn't started yet.
They review the medicals before they review my eligibility. Confused.

Only do the medical when that ask for them as the only valid for so long. They will request medical document when doing family sponsorship. Its a little different for temporary residents where the can do the medical first. I would not get hung up on the status of the during the application process. They will contact you if there need any information. Only submit information such as change of address or contact information if it changes.
