Hi!

I'm having problem understanding what does this e-cas update means:

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on January XX, 2011.

I have received and done Medicals already in September 2010.

Status in e-cas: In Progress. Is there any explanation for this?

Seniors please advise.

I think there is some error in their website. I am also getting wrong information.. This is not true what you got.

Well sometimes they don't update the receipt of medical results....although it supposed to....and practiced by many CHC's
Mine also having similar E cas message......although some other done medical before under the same CHC informed me that they also didn't have either their medical receipt update in the E cas.... until getting the visa stamped to find the E cas finally changed from "In-process to "Decision made"......

Since its been nearly 12 weeks from your medical done....You could probably send a inquiry mail to your CHC asking whether they have received your medical....as many seniors suggested in absence of E cas update this is alternative way to get confirmed....

I have made inquiry about my application in mid-November and got answer from Visa Office, that application processing is ongoing, which probably means that everything is received.

And I haven't received any news from that point...

Well may be your security check is still on... but the CHC supposed to let you know in word that they have received your medical.... Sometimes its really helpless without clue which left us barely unattended!!
