what does final review of application means??

hey
i have a question it will be really great if some one can help me with dat...we have done our medical 10 months ago and also have sent passport of all family nd all papers 10 months ago to CHC new delhi and its a family base case..our sponser put an inquery by thier MP and the embassy said that our file is under FINAL REVIEW i want to know what does it means..
