What does background check includes

I wonder if anyone here knows what background check means when you are applying for PR. Do they include CBSA database too?

It just so happen that CBSA sent me a Notice of Travel/Identity Document seizure a year ago and I don't know if that will affect my PR application. Please help.

What is that notice and why did they send it to you?

It was a notice of seizure Identity document. They say it was fake so they seized it. I don't know if that will affect my PR application.

Well it was your document right? Was it faked? If it was I would say probably have something to worry about.
