Hi everyone..
I am in Canada right now, and waiting to hear back the answer for my work permit for common law partners of skilled workers.

I have already submitted the application in June, however im looking for help and advice about extra documents/ evidenc I can submit in webform to make sure it gets accepted.

Before I submitted my SOWP application, I applied for a visitor visa extension because I needed more time to submit my application, and recently found out it was refused, which is making me anxious about the SOWP being accepted.

the reasons for my refusal include
1. Reason for original entry and reason for requested extension;
2. Ties to country of permanent residence, including: - employment and study commitments; - family ties and responsibilities; - status (citizenship or immigration status);
3. Financial means for the extended stay and return home;
4. Travel and identity documents;
5. Probability to leave Canada at the end of authorized stay. After considering all the circumstances of your case, I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of the Act and Regulations.

I feel that I need to provide more evidence now, to counter the reasons the visitor was refused and increase chances of the SOWP being accepted..

any suggestions if this will help? can I hire a lawyer to write a letter and submit via webform?

thank you for all the much appreciated replies and help
