Hello All,

Yesterday I received a letter from Canadian High Commission Islamabad - Pak that my application has be provisionally accepted and it seems that there are number of stages in processing the application and I have been successful in one of them.

It is also written in the application that medical documents would be received by me within next few weeks.

My specific questions are:
1) Does that mean my interview has been waived as I was not called for it or they call after accepting the application provisionally.

2) Is it a compulsion that I get my medical formalities completed from a Canadian High Commission authorized doctor/medical institute in Pakistan or I could get my medical from anywhere as I live out of Pakistan now.

3) Could anyone give me some idea what are the steps during the medical like when I had to submit my documents I was given 120 days by the Canadian High Commission which was enough for me to complete it, so how many days do they give for medical and is it we who post it back to the high commission or the doctor does it directly.

Many Thanks in advance,
Regards.

Congrats man tht surely means tht ur interview is waived unless they find any issue in security checks. Very very rare so u r good.

Yes it is a compulsion tht u undergo medical exam frm a chc registered doc but as far as my knowledge is concerened u can get ur medicals frm anywhere in the world. Only condition is tht doc is registered with chc.

Normally they give u 30 days time for completion of medicals. Getting medical dn in this duration is nt an issue since it is hardly 1 to 2 hours procedure.

Medical results r nt to b handled by applicants and doc directly send ur results to medical officee of ur region

In medicals they measure ur weight hight chk ur eye sight just by asking u to read a line frm board
Chest xray blood test urine sample and general physisian check up.

Gud luck my prayers r with u buddy. Onething more blood test xray and urine test r nt for children.

They just check tht u shd nt be hiv patient hepatitis or tb patient.

I hop it gives u idea
