Hello everyone,

I am about to file for my PR.

My details are as follows:

Age: 31

Highest Education: MBA in India
(WES is verifying my marksheets and transcripts )

IELTS Score:
Speaking:9
Listening: 8
Writing:8
Reading:7.5

Work Experience:
NOC 6231 : 18 Months in India
NOC 6231 : 21 Months in Canada

Study In Canada: 2 Year Diploma

No relatives in Canada.

I am currently on a Post Graduate Work Permit that will expire on June 25, 2019.

Do you think I can get my PR before my PGWP expires in June 2019?

An immigration consultant said she will charge me $3000 for the whole process. I found that price to be very expensive. Do you think I should go through a consultant or file for PR by myself ?

Hello,

The CRS calculator on the CIC website says my score is 507.

Am I eligible for the FSW catagory because I have international work experience ?

I checked out the FSW score and it totals upto 85.

Thank you.

If you feel confident in doing it yourself, do it. Your CRS score is good, you should get an invite to apply no problem. $3000 is a lot of money for an agent, that at the end of the day, may screw up your application. I have done all my applications myself so far and will be doing the same for PR.

I filed PR by myself. This forum is very useful and many have provided guidance. Do not go through an agent. Save the money.

But if you're not technically confident enough then go through the agent.

with that score you dont need an agent as you can get invited again if you somehow manage to mess up your application.
