What about flight tickets?

I was wondering if it's normal to wait for your visa to buy a flight ticket or just buy it now and cancel it later if visa gets rejected?
So far the prices have been increasing A LOT and so I don't know what to do.. any advice?

Other option, if you really want to buy ticket, try to find one ticket that is refundable, in case things went south
They are really that cheap now, just purchase mine for $1185 return from Middle East to Vancouver !!

Yes I am looking into that and I found some tickets which are refundable. I'll also be flying from the middle east!
