Have you seen any information about COVID-related delays for issuing ECAs? Perhaps they don't have as many staff in their offices anymore.

Based on their own update it should not impact my case! Here is the update:

We recognize the many ways in which the COVID-19 pandemic has affected people’s lives and are closely monitoring the impact. In consideration of the health of our staff and in line with global public health recommendations, WES management has, after careful consideration, shifted to a work-from-home arrangement to the extent feasible. This arrangement is through March 20, and is likely to be further extended.

We understand the critical role we play in supporting applicants like you with timely credential evaluation services, and we take that role extremely seriously. We will process all complete applications that we received in our offices by March 10 in a timely fashion. All others can expect to be delayed.

17 December 2019: Application created and payment made.
24 January 2020: Documents received and signed for by WES.
31 January 2020: We are processing a new package or document for your application.
11 February 2020: We are analyzing and evaluating your document(s).
19 February 2020: We are reviewing your evaluation. All documents were reviewed and accepted. Estimated completion date: 3/17/2020
16 March 2020: Evaluation complete! Canadian equivalency summary: College-level postgraduate certificate (one year)

You should be able to get it before the next draw.
I didn't know it would take two months. I should have done it way earlier.
Lucky that I sent everything in before they closed.

I estimated I'd be drawn in February, but my WES ECA took 3 months, unfortunately.

Maybe some foreign degrees will take longer. I thought a US degree would be faster. Apparently not the case.

When I login in WES Canada system it still shows

The estimated completion date of your evaluation is 3/23/2020 (my documents were reviewed and accepted on 2/25/2020)

But several people on this thread say that they usually release the eletronic version before which didn't happen with me. Probably they will delay my evaluation or there still real chances for tomorrow?

My current timeline:

• 01/12/2019: Payment made (Credit Card)
• 06/02/2020: Documents delivered to WES
• 07/02/2020: WES acknowledged receipt of documents
• 26/02/2020: WES sent an email saying they evaluated all my documents and my due date is March 23, 2020.

No, I just checked the website and there is no update. Still with the due date of today, but no changes so far. I think it will be delayed.

Anyone with similar issue? Remember that my docs were accepted and reviewed before the date which is being displayed under their website for delays.

Confirmed, I didn't receive my ECA today. I'm sad but cannot be mad at all as the world is in caos.

Congrats!! Good to know that WES is actively working on applications even if gets delayed by a day or two.

Curious to know - Does your postgraduate diploma count as 2nd degree for EE? Can you claim points in 2 or more degrees category?

Just to let those of you who were following, finally got my evaluation on 24th with 4 days delay from estimation date(20th March). Credential: Master of Science and Canadian equivalency: Master's Degree

Congrats!! Can I ask where did you do your Master of Science? Just curious because I noticed many a times that Masters from India gets evaluated to One year graduate study (honestly I don't know what that means).
